Arriving in Town

Whether you travel on foot, by bicycle, car, bus or train, the town’s amenities are only a stone’s throw away.

Car parking is very reasonably priced (especially if you’re used to Bristol rates) and Park & Ride services take the stress out searching for a parking space. Rail and bus timetables will also help you plan your visit.

Project Taunton developments will result in incremental changes to the provision of parking in town. Inevitably this will mean some disruption with drivers directed to alternative car parks. However, although some car parks will need to be closed, there are sufficient spaces to accommodate visitor and shopper parking, whilst new park and ride facilities will provide commuters with very good value longer-stay parking as part of Taunton's strategy to reduce congestion in the town centre.
