March Programme
The highlights for week beginning 1 March are an opportunity to meet members of Transition Taunton; an authoritative talk about the History of Taunton by the County Heritage Officer and author Tom Mayberry; a glimpse at the recent archaeological discoveries at the park and ride site and the practical art of willow sculpture.The following week is devoted to the future of Taunton with members of the Project Taunton team presenting a series of lunch time talks and walks and the Routes River Rail project involving a developing piece of art in the shop by artists working with Taunton Deane Borough Council. Then on Friday 12 March, from 11.30am, students from The Castle School will showcase their creative writing project by presenting visitors to the shop with a copy of their book 'Through Different Eyes'
