Project Taunton Exhibits Castle Green Plans

Project Taunton will be exhibiting plans for the Castle Green area of the town, on 14 and 15 January at the Brewhouse Theatre. The detailed plans are shown here: Castle Green Plans

The exhibition will be open to view during the Brewhouse opening hours and the Project Taunton team will be on hand between 10.30am and 3.00pm to answer any questions that may arise.

The exhibition will be an opportunity for people to see the proposed plans before they go through the Taunton Deane Borough Council planning process. There will be comment forms available on both days and Project Taunton is looking forward to gaining useful feedback from the public.

Project Taunton is one of the largest town centre regeneration programmes in the South West. It will create 2,000 new homes in the town centre and support at least 18,000 new homes across Taunton as a whole. It will also provide 80,000m² of employment space, 50,000m² of new retail space and at least 7,000 jobs.

Recognised as a key social and economic development for the region, the regeneration of Taunton is promoted and supported by Taunton Deane Borough Council, the South West RDA, Somerset County Council and the Environment Agency.
