The sun shone this Bank Holiday Saturday as Taunton’s newest public green space, Longrun Meadows, was opened to the public for the first time.

The launch of Taunton’s electric powered, community trip boat on to the River Tone caused quite a spectacle this morning as it was craned into the water at Priory Bridge Road slipway.

Taunton’s electric powered, community trip boat will be launched for the first time on the River Tone tomorrow. Named ‘Future Perfect’, the boat is expected to create quite a spectacle when it is craned into the river at Priory Bridge Road slipway at 8.00am.
