Today's Taunton

Taunton is Somerset’s principle town. An historic market town set on the banks of the River Tone, it has a bustling and diverse shopping area, a thriving cultural scene, and excellent educational and health services.

Surrounded by some of South West England’s most beautiful rural and coastal landscapes, Taunton has excellent transport links to London, the Midlands, Bristol, Exeter and beyond.
