
Previously the location of Taunton’s livestock market, this site of just under 7 hectares is set to become one of the most exciting development projects in the South West.
Construction of the first office building (HQ for Viridor) is underway and there is a keen interest from investors for other commercial buildings. With these first low carbon buildings, combined heat and power generation and much improved links from the station through the site to the town centre, Taunton Deane Borough Council’s development partner, St Modwen, is beginning to create one of the most sustainable new mixed use areas of its kind – providing Taunton with a superior large scale office development, complemented by attractive riverside homes, leisure and neighbourhood shopping.
