You may have seen the three new benches that have been introduced to the High Street. Before you start posting comments let me explain that these were benches that the Taunton Deane DLO had in stock and are not benches selected by the Design Team. The idea is to provide a quick fix, following the removal of the remaining benches as part of the now completed declutter exercise, so that Christmas shoppers have somewhere to perch while they recover.

All being well we will be looking into some much more attractive, and warmer benches more appropriate for the environs of the new Taunton High Street.
