Launch of the Taunton Protocol

The Taunton Protocol is a pioneering blueprint for sustainable development. The first draft of this groundbreaking document was launched at the Building Future Perfect event in November where it was well received by key industry players. The Taunton Protocol requires developers, builders and professionals involved in the design and construction of new developments to commit to 10 principles related to low carbon development, environmental responsibility, employment and training, design and wellbeing.

With a huge amount of property experience in the public and private sectors, Ian's responsibilities include negotiating contracts, land acquisition, hiring specialist consultants and ensuring that all elements of Taunton's regeneration are timely and to specification. Ian is passionate about Taunton's potential as a great place to both live and work.
