New Office Manager at Project Taunton

Hayley Bell recently joined the team as the new Office Manager. 35 year old Hayley has lived in Taunton for three years. She is enthusiastic about her new role and is looking forward to being a part of the town’s future.
"I think the regeneration of Taunton is very exciting and much needed. There are lots of changes taking place in and around the town and it’s great to be a part of it,” she said.

Longrun Meadows Planning Application Submitted
The creation of Longrun Meadows has taken a significant step forward with the recent planning application submission. The landscaping of what was originally pasture land will create a new rural open space right on the edge of town. It will be accessible to all and provide diverse habitats for an array of wildlife. The designs which feature an open green oak barn, seating shelters, barbecues, facilities for a Forest School, paths, wildflower meadows and wildlife hides are the work of local landscape architects, Swan Paul Partnership.

A shop window on Taunton
An empty shop will be used to house the new ‘Our Place’ project – a programme of activities and exhibitions on the theme of Taunton: Past, Present and Future. Scheduled to open early next year, the aim is to bring the community together in finding out more about the town; inspiring us all to discover and share ideas.
