Taunton’s New Green Space hosts over 300 people at Project Taunton’s Family Picnic 
The launch of Taunton’s electric powered, community trip boat on to the River Tone caused quite a spectacle this morning as it was craned into the water at Priory Bridge Road slipway.
From circuses to steam trains and fashion shows to country fairs, plus sporting events, celebrity visits and music concerts - there is heaps to do in Taunton during September and much of it is free.
Taunton has been crowned the most enterprising place in South West, beating stiff competition from across the region in the nation’s Enterprising Britain competition.
