The role of the Environment Agency is to look after the environment and make it a better place to live and work.

Project Taunton is an exciting regeneration scheme that the Environment Agency is pleased to partner. There is huge scope for providing exemplar development along a re-energised and enhanced urban river. The partnership has worked very closely towards delivering a common goal, and this is reflected in the awards and national recognition the project has picked up to date. The Environment Agency is keen to see this close involvement continuing with developers during the delivery stage of Project Taunton, to ensure we achieve a high quality, sustainable development, for the people of Taunton.
