How do you view Taunton as a choice of location?

Taunton provides a high quality of life for us as the employer and also for our employees. There's good access for commuters to and from Taunton be it by rail or car.

What were the main benefits that Sassi Holford found in Taunton ?

Being in Taunton was never by design however, we have found the transport links to be excellent -the motorway network is minutes away and the train station is walking distance. We have another shop in London that I visit every other week and by train London is less than two hours away, making my working week a lot more manageable.

Do you see the business remaining in Taunton ?

Yes -we've been here for over 20 years and are fortunate enough to have some very talented and dedicated staff.

Is Taunton a good place to live?

From a family's perspective, yes; there is a great selection of schools and colleges on offer. If ever you want a change of scenery two coasts, Bristol , Exeter and even London are all easily reached by rail or road. Furthermore, both Bristol and Exeter have an international airport.

Do you find the local labour force to be well educated?

Recruitment can be challenging for us but that's not really a local issue. I know from talking to other people in our industry that recruiting in Somerset has been relatively easy compared with other parts of the country.
