Project Taunton won the Spatial Strategies category of the RTPI Planning Awards 2005.

BURA

At the British Urban Regeneration Association (BURA) Best Practice Awards ceremony in 2006, Project Taunton celebrated success in the Strategy and Masterplanning category of the Waterways Renaissance Awards, identified as making a positive contribution to the area's economic regeneration, acting as a catalyst for wider regeneration and creating a self-sustaining momentum with long term benefits for the local community.

Education Business Partnership

Project Taunton, the regeneration of Taunton's town centre, was recognised by the Somerset Education Business Partnership (EBP) in 2007 for its work with two Taunton schools, The Castle School and Bishop Fox's Community School.
