Schools and Colleges

We are committed to working with the young people in our schools and colleges; helping them to understand the issues involved in regeneration. From Reception classes to groups of further and higher education students, the team are keen to get involved. Our work with two schools in particular, Bishop Fox's and The Castle School, has been recognised by the Business Education Partnership at their award ceremony in March 2008.

Activities for schools are evolving by the term. Recent developments include:

• Young Champions established in each of Taunton's five state secondary schools

• Membership of Taunton Schools' Business & Enterprise Network
  

• Ideas for the future of Castle Green co-ordinated and presented to LDA Design (Exeter)

• Support for Young Enterprise 'Our City' project with Bishop Fox's Community School primary partners

• Opportunities for individual pupils to come and talk to the team re coursework etc.
