Cultural Quarter

Extending from Priory Bridge and including Somerset County Cricket Ground, this area links the Firepool commercial core to the Tangier professional/residential redevelopment. It includes Coal Orchard and the Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre, the riverside walkways through Goodland Gardens and the historic Castle Green.

Exeter based landscape architects LDA Design have been commissioned to masterplan the Cultural Quarter both sympathetically and holistically and we were delighted that their initial plans were so well received by the public in the joint Town Centre Area Action Plan consultation with Taunton Deane Borough Council.
