development for the region, the regeneration of Taunton is promoted and supported by Taunton
Deane Borough Council, the South West of England Regional Development Agency,

The growth of the team signifies an important stage for Project Taunton with the Firepool site having recently been launched onto the open market and the proposals for the cultural quarter put on public display earlier this month.
Involving and improving the community as well as developing the built environment are key objectives for Project Taunton and, as project coordinator, Robbie Lowes will be closely involved with this. Robbie explained: "Much of my new job is a liaison role and already I've been out meeting a wide variety of people from the community, hearing their views on Taunton's redevelopment and updating them with our progress and how it affects them, such as new job opportunities, shopping schemes, plans for the riverfront and timescales."
"I am really pleased that I got
chosen for this job, it is a very exciting time for Taunton and it is great to be part of the new
and exciting developments."
